Cylindrical Weights of Model No. SWPI : 26-27(b) are used for calibration of high capacity weighing machines. These Weights have cylindrical shape with rounded edges with mild steel handle at the top making it suitable for lifting by crane and cylindrical shape makes it suitable for rolling and stacking. SWPI’s Standard Weights are made of high quality pig iron for smooth surface (so that foreign materials may not accumulate on its surface). First adjusting cavity is placed at the bottom of the weight. There is also one small adjusting cavity is present on the top of the Test Weight for stamping by legal metrology.
