Calibration Weights or Test Weights of Model No. SWPI: 1-4 (a) are manufactured as per Recommendation of OIML R-111-1-2004 [Figure A.3 (Type 2)]. These Weights are used as standards for the verification & calibration of weighing instruments. These Weights are also used as standards for verification or calibration of weights of a lower accuracy class. SWPI’s Calibration Weights or Test Weights are made of high quality pig iron for smooth surface (so that foreign materials may not accumulate on its surface). All walls of our Calibration Weights are smooth and plane so that number of pieces may be stacked properly. The adjusting cavity is on the top sealed with lead plate. The adjusting cavity is kept sufficient room to allow future adjustment of mass due to wear and tear.
